Alex Walsh Physiotherapist Sports Physio Ulladulla

Physiotherapist, Practice Director

Alex completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the Australian Catholic University in 2016 and has also completed her Sports Physio Level 2 with the APA. She is trained in Dry Needling and has completed numerous sporting courses including the shoulder and hip and groin. Alex has most recently been the physiotherapist for GWS Fury Premier League Netball team, and over the past 5 years traveled to the State Netball Championships with both Ku-Ring-Gai Netball Association and Hills District Netball Association. Alex has also worked with Premier League Football in Sydney and Athletics NSW.

Alex grew up playing representative netball and competed at state level swimming, athletics and touch football. These days she trains regularly at the gym as well as running and swimming for general fitness (and her yearly triathlon).

Alex has a particular interest in knee, foot and ankle injuries, adolescent athletes, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries. Her love for sport shines through her treatment approach, using her sharp knowledge of different sports to analyse biomechanical problems or load-based issues which may be causing an injury. She goes above and beyond to ensure her clients remain as active as possible through their rehabilitation, as she knows how hard it is to be watching from the sideline!!
