Henry Jones Physiotherapist Sports Physio Ulladulla

Physiotherapist, Clinical Director

Henry completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at the Australian Catholic University in 2017 and has completed his Sports Physio Level 2 course with the APA. He is a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified Professional and is trained in Dry Needling. Henry is the current Head Physiotherapist of the Milton Ulladulla Bulldogs.

While working in Sydney, Henry was the Physiotherapy Coordinator for the NSW Athletics team, and continues to travel with the state team for interstate competition. He previously worked as the Physiotherapy provider for the NSW Institute of Sport Para-Archery and Water Polo Talent programs. Henry also worked closely with the Carlile and SOPAC’s junior and elite swimming squads. Over the years, he has worked across a number of sports and organisations including Sydney University Water Polo Club, NSW Rugby 7's, The Greater Sydney Rams NRC Rugby team, Netball NSW, Gymnastics NSW, Football NSW and Sydney University AFL Club.

Henry previously competed at a national level in middle distance running and also enjoyed playing Rugby Union at a representative level throughout school. He now enjoys staying fit, trying to fit in as much golf, swimming, running, surfing and cycling as he can to ensure that he practices what he preaches in the clinic.

Henry has a keen interest in acute sporting injuries, biomechanical analysis and working with athletes to help them achieve their athletic goals, whatever they may be. To achieve this, his treatment incorporates massage, trigger point therapy, dry needling, corrections to poor movement patterns and exercise prescription. Henry is a strong believer that providing his patients with education on how their body works is one of the most important parts of recovery from injury and prevention of re-injury. From there it is all about getting stronger, improving movement patterns and moving better.
